This Privacy Policy explains how Appsfork ("we", "us") handles information when you use our mobile apps and website appsfork.com (together, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to this policy.
1. Which apps this policy covers
This single policy applies to all apps published by Appsfork on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and to appsfork.com. Which of the items below apply depends on the features of the app you use.
2. Information we collect
- Photos and camera images: pictures you take or choose so an app can analyze them (for example to identify a bird, try on an outfit, change a hairstyle, or find your face shape). Apps such as Face Shape Finder, Hair AI, AI Clothes Changer and Pet Portrait AI process images of faces, people or pets; we use them only to produce the result you requested, not to identify you.
- Audio recordings: sounds you record in apps such as Bird Sound Identifier and Animal Sound Identifier so they can be identified.
- Location: approximate or precise location, only if you allow it, to give region-specific results in apps that offer this (such as bird and animal identification).
- Usage and diagnostics: app interactions, crash reports, device model, OS version, language and approximate region, used to keep the apps working and improve them.
- Identifiers: a randomly generated app user ID and, where you allow tracking, your device advertising identifier.
- Purchase information: subscription status and transaction identifiers. Payments are processed by Apple or Google; we never receive your card details.
- Push notification token: if you enable notifications, so we can send them.
- Messages: what you send when you email us for support.
You can turn off camera, microphone, photo, location, notification and tracking permissions at any time in your device settings; features that need them will then not work.
3. How we use information
- To provide, operate and improve the apps and their features.
- To process the content you submit and return results to you.
- To manage subscriptions, verify purchases and restore them.
- To measure performance, fix bugs, and understand which features are used.
- To measure the effectiveness of our advertising and, where you allow tracking, to attribute app installs.
- To send notifications you have opted in to.
- To respond to support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
4. AI processing
Features that analyze or edit photos or audio send the content you submit to our servers or to trusted AI service providers solely to generate the result you requested. We do not sell your personal content, and we do not use it to identify you.
5. Third-party services and sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Depending on the app, we use these types of service providers, who process data on our behalf or under their own privacy policies:
- Analytics and crash reporting: Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics).
- Subscriptions and purchases: AppActor and RevenueCat, together with Apple and Google billing.
- Push notifications: OneSignal.
- Advertising measurement and attribution: Apple Search Ads, Google Ads and TikTok, which may receive limited event data and, with your permission, your advertising identifier.
- Cloud hosting and AI processing: infrastructure and AI providers that process the content you submit.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety and security.
6. Tracking (iOS)
Where an iOS app asks for permission to track you, choosing "Ask App Not to Track" stops access to your advertising identifier. You can change this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
7. Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Content you submit for processing is retained only for the time required to deliver the result unless an app clearly tells you otherwise.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (including the EEA, UK, Türkiye and California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can also disable the advertising identifier or tracking in your device settings. To exercise any right, email [email protected].
9. Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
11. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data protection laws. We take steps to protect it as described in this policy.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by other appropriate means.
